Even as a work in progress, this looks amazing. The title makes me think of this being emerging slowly from a deep dark pool of absinthe. The eyes are also positively enchanting.

reading this fun book on the history of bio/chemical war (my book taste is odd so filled with fun facts) you cram so much feeling into the mouths and eyes of your figures it is so impressive.

the book was greek fire poison arrows and scorpion bombs by adriane mayor. she wrote a couple pairing paleontology with mythology in the classical and native american mythos. the world is fascinating and beautiful place.
