Albino Honey by ~Sleetwealth Regurgitating the nectar and transforming it into honey, the bees came to know what she knew; "what she had dreamt; the scent and colors of her thoughts." Another mind-bending, fabulous sculpture from this very inspiring artist. (partial quote taken from Simon Drax's "A Very Fast Descent into Hell") ( Featured by LabyrinthCreations )

Thanks :) well I try not to over analyze the expressions that come out of my faces. Its more effortless and not stymied that way. I rather focus on the symbolism or story elements.
has to do I think with a bit with being sickly, pain of bee stings and hoping for healing.

Very haunting. It's nice to see a person with albinism rendered accurately, too. Congratulations on a very much deserved DD.

My partner is an albino and he has pink eyes but in the right light they can look purple.
His mother had Leucism which is the blue eyed equivalent apparently.

Beautiful sculpture though, love it!

naw its rare like some ice flower and etheral or elvish. Ive only seen in person pale aqua eyes and those were amazing!
Given a drasticly different climate albinos could have been common and brown eyes the odd thing.:)

I used to think Albinos were from somewhere like Alaska or something where sun isn't intense so they'd naturally evolve to be paler but have no melanin in their eyes so they can absorb more light to see.
Oh I felt so silly when I met my other half!
He has it from both sides of the family I believe which explains why he's more of the stereotype?
Still gorgeous.

That was a clever thought.even if its not right. haha Itd be neat to visit a land of albinos and pale animals too.where the sky is dimmed and the sun not so burning.

yes both sides very rare indeed!

They are beautiful but it comes at a very sad price.
My partner has to be checked every month for skin cancer because he doesn't have the melanin we have to protect from UV :(.
Oh and I got Leucism wrong a bit :P, its the loss of colour due to all types of skin pigment whereas Albinoism is just melanin.
People with Leucism have their natural eye colour so his mother had blue eyes but white skin and hair.
You might have just met loads of people with Leucism?
Hehe, still beautiful though.

Yeah I heard they were very sensitive to the sun. I wish they were not though.
Thats okay. I knew what you were trying to say. :meow:
I've actually never met someone like that but I know some people that have.
