The costumes are very important to me. Im in the process of learning to make beautiful miniature clothing for my sculptures. This was alot of work ,but worth it!
Costumes can convey so much about a character, but especially when dealing with characters from Fairy Tales and fables in this day in age with Disney ruling over everyone's mind.
I go to the older versions of fairytales and folklore before censorship and editing if I can. I belive the older versions have important meaning and resonace. Disneys versions are a shell of a story with all the meat cut out. I also add imaginary forgotten bits to existing stories on occasion or make up my own quasi fairy tales.
