Yes, I saw that you got a comment or two particularly about her face, but it really is a dazzling sight. Just so... real. Not a very strong word, but it is. Her gaze, how her eyebrows are raised a bit, the depth in her eyes. Her apparel is also very striking to me. The tight rubber-looking hood and the intricate, design with gems, and the symbol create this wonderful harmony of something classic and contemporary. This is truly outstanding among your sculptures and I hope others think so too.
Thank you her expression and gaze is particularly sweet. Surprised me how innocent she turned out. Hardcandy was sort of vacantly staring so, I wanted to come back to that visual soul connection. Im am so hesitant to use cheap prettyfluff things like rhinestones I had to ink stain them to make them work for me.But I really like the odd combination.
I suppose she seemed that way. But, I could imagine the humanity in that one even. Just one of those times that one would just get caught up in sucking on the little sugary piece. It's happened to me before. But, yes the execution of this one really pushed that connection you're talking about.
I didn't think about the possibility they'd be rhinestones, but that's probably the way you pulled them off here. They add an element of flash without making the whole thing gaudy. I think also it's because they look to be fastened in there very nicely. I've gotten the impression in me that rhinestones would be looking cheap or that they'd just fall off any moment. Not here though.
