Ghost of Kush wip by Sleetwealth Ghost of Kush wip by Sleetwealth
This started out as Frida Kahlo done in terracotta colored clay.Something just didnt want to go along with that. Sorry Frida Ill do you later.
I think something just as interesting is emerging and when my clay gets pushy I like to go along with what it demands. Ive been so busy I have two more busts in progress!

5" tall bust sculpted in polymer

They do tend to override what we want them to be and tell the creator what they actually are sometimes, don't they? I love this one...

Gorgeous, Nita.
Good you let go :D she's more Asian looking the Frida looking to me.
I'm positive you can make a very beautiful Frida .
Is it for the ADO challenge ? :D

She looked like a man as I tried to do Frida. yes I was doing the ADO challenge even though Im no longer an ADO member I wanted to make it still.

She looked island Asian to me or African. So I made her Kushite. A people of Egypt that to me seen mysterious and exotic. I think also she looks like the famous bust of Nefertiti.
