Very good. You create some strong images. I only wish some of them were more... full bodied. But that doesn't distract from how truely fine they are.

that would be nice:) its a matter of size. this need to be able to fit into an oven. some of my tinier pieces are full bodied but I dont like working that small anymore.

how do you put the eyes in? are they painted eyes?

:iconsleetwealth:

The eyes are glass and they are in the clay when its soft. I sculpt the eyelid around the glass eye

yes but i read that glass eye will break when the clay is in the oven, is this ture?
im assuming you are using sculpey

no the glass eyes wont break unless you take the baked clay out hot and put it under water or give it a shock. Almost all my busts have solid glass eyes and Ive never had a problem. I used premo which is made by the same company as sculpy.

I guess as long as you enjoy doing it and it sells, it works for me

but still... *shiver* without any makeup/regular clothes on (and with sockets of arms exposed) it is quite startling

yes my work does sell ,in fact when I do this kind of thing it sells fast. $400 for a bust is not bad.some of the more classic things I tried to do just dont get much response.and Im just naturally creepy I guess.

The sockets are supposed to be faux ball joints.but often when I try for one thing I get some interesting effect with my epic fail.
