Thank you Sam. I tried to make her a bit more classical without losing grit.

:D Its one of my favorite things.Too much pretty turns my stomach.

My caster has been suggesting the classical bust style with stand and sculpted cloth environment.. To lift the figures from flat grounded and to work on more motion within the bust. The classical bust type is too boring traditional for me,but Im trying to devise something that will still be me and give the piece more sophistication.

Karrion I think is my first one who's going to be cast. Lea is requiring a lot of editing unfortunately.

What cause of Lea? I hope if does go too far. I sent the master and some parts of the coiled seaweed base were fragile. She wants to cut down the base a bit,but I really liked the unusual tall pillar look.

I'm loving that chest-piece. Painting it a burgandy-ish color?

Thanks. Lots more work still to the chest styling. Not sure of colors yet but, I will be painting. One thing I wanted to do was flay her shoulder ala Fernando Vicente, but. Dont want to confuse the whole concept. I might have to save it for another one.

I saw this one on your blog

You may have done this already but the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the setting in the chest was some clock work sprockets and such. may look nice. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea. I wasnt sure what Id put in there ,but I have been working on black and white clay insignia.

I havent done anything with gears. Ive always loved automatons and mechanical toys, but Ive shied away from "steampunk". I feel a certain inner tug of war there.
If I do use clockwork mechanisms I would want it functioning at least appearing to and to have purpose and significance in my imagery.

Thanks Susie! I adore your stuff too soul sistah!

I was hoping to get a neat popular one to have cast as an LTD resin. maybe her. But I have to make some sort of plinth that will be custom and not look too boring traditional.Kat Soto said I need something to lift them and add movement so, Im trying to switch up from the cut straight at the shoulders and do a sweetheart neckline..not sure how I feel about that yet.

Thanks.Theres a ribbon laced though her chest and bird skulls in there. Looks a mite too much like a traditional tattoo, but Ill be adding more detail to it.
