your work is absolutely stunning!! The amount of emotion you capture in your sculptures blows me away! The biting lip and furrowed brow just speak so much to the viewer! Please keep it up and never stop creating beautiful, thought provoking art for the world to see!

The head piece doesnt show very well but, its a bear hat. The bear had a snarling face.
I loved making her the face just worked this time no fighting!

Those are the best! I also enjoy when a piece just behaves and seems to form on it's own.

your faces stand out in a medium where often sculptors tend towards the vacuously pretty...your figures seem to live & breathe,& you capture their thoughts...marvellous!

I think she is my most believable alive face to date! I want to continue doing realism but, not too much. I dont want it to be boringly perfect.

Luscious work. Wish I could see something that puts the size in context. What is 5"? The face, the whole figure?

Luscious. I like that:) 5" is how tall she is from the shoulder to top of head. The face by itself is 3" tall

yeah I like the hat. next time I will prepare the hat a little better. I could have used glass lenses for the goggles if I had thought f it sooner.

It still looks cool,Maybe try liquid polymer, thats what I used for the six pack plastic rings on my alien fisherman.

Like I did on Fwop [link] I put a thin layer of liquid sculpey on wax paper and baked it the alotted time, let it cool and then took a ink pen apart, one with a good aluminum barrel and used it like a cookie cutter and cut out holes for the cans. I was thinking the similar process could be apply to goggles or glasses, but use the cutouts for the lenses.Another idea might be to make the frames minis the ear peices,or legs ( I think thats what they call them) and lay it on wax paper and fill lens area with liquid sculpey and then bake. Just a thought, maybe this will help.

I never did that before ,but have you noticed a lot of art now has cute animal caps?! Bunnies ,kitties and bears oh my!
I was almost out of mohair and that stuff if its nice is like 20 bucks an oz! So, this way I only needed a tiny bit of hair.
