Matilda in progress by Sleetwealth Matilda in progress by Sleetwealth
Matilda is a lil tomboy wearing an angry bear cap. She is still getting paint and hair.

I was considering this one for a LTD resin and taking preorders. one quote I got 79 for a batch of 15. 50% up front.
15-17 days turn over. Not sure she would be popular enough ,but she wears a cap that could be removed so I can put glass eyes in the sculpture and just hair tufts rather than a full wig.
Im thinking perhaps a Vanessa semi clone later for a LTD

I use a convection oven. Its has a timer and shuts off when done. I first quick bake 10 minutes at low temp then cover the sculpt in aluminum foil a second time for full bake time. The aluminum keeps it from darkening.

I have burned sculptures in the past. I once left one in overnight so it was black!

This is so Divine, your quest for realism is paying off. My senses are resonating to this, Confusing my mind making me believe this real,
what wrong with you......This isn't the dream scape of Inception Nita, lol, subtle expressiveness of the face and texture bathed in Light,
I almost waiting to see the soul eject from the body.

Well, simply the fact that you SCULPTED the teeth is quite...:jawdrop:
I somehow always manage to paint beside what I wanted to, but that's gone better, now that I've got my nail polish-remover! A-haa!

Well yeah the teeth are tiny its lucky with polymer you can bake them hard push them into the clay and bake again.
I tried a toothpick with a dab of cotton on it with acetone. Didnt get it. Maybe I will scrape the tooth with the tip of a razor.
