wow thats very amazing.. I like how you added alot of detail to the eyes and the finger nails look very real. You must of had to be very careful while making the nails to get them that thin.

Very tricky to add those on such a small figure. And delicate. Im working on ways I can add stronger long nails.
I worked from a gorgeous model ,but used some imagination in the eye color dept.

She's so beautiful. I love the wax effect that the clay has, and just look at how alive she looks. I could just go over and lend her a shoulder... although it does look as though she has tears of slight joy... such a beautiful expression!

I don't know anything of polymer clay, but you make it look like wax. I hope it lasts longer...

Thank you. Polymer clay is made up of PVC powder and hardens when cured with heat so, its surface is like plastic. It does look alot like wax which is what I like about it.:)

I love ALL your work. The eyes are incredibly haunting and expresive.

Your work is very inspiring to me and I hope to one day be just as good in my own right. I've only made a few pieces as I learn about the Polymer clay stuff.

Keep up the good work!

You painted those eyes all by yourself? o___o
I love yellow eyes. They're a lot more piercing and beautiful than people like to think blue eyes are.

Well I do have my crew of child labor. heehee yes I painted myself.
I like blue alright, but its not my favorite. I like the amber/ light hazel hues. Ive never seen a true yellow except in a cat..also green eyes I think prettier than blue.

The yellow eyes really grabs your attention.
And those freakishly long nails made me shiver.
I hope i come into some money so i'd get the chance to buy one of your sculptures :)

Thank you V:)Yeah it worked out pretty well and Im trying to add more animal things cause just a figure gets boring. I have to make a fox soon. Probably not as brilliant as Chelle, but Im going to fur it and all.

Awesome! I LOVE foxes. I have yet to flock myself....always wanted to, but I'll have to bite the bullet at some point when I've got some more free time to play around with it. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I absolutely loved the raven!

Im making a test head now.Sculpted it last night while watching dvd's and will try fur ahead of time to
learn what not to do so, I dont fudge up the final sculpt. The only fur Ive done is faun legs and it took a lot of time. You realy have to go slow or it will look gluey and matted!

I think animals will be fun.. the mythilogical animals too. Id love to make a realistic dragon pet.

I wanted to try to flock for half human, half animal ones mostly....there's a lot you can do with clay as far as getting a fur-like or feather-like texture, like Forest has done. But I like the added texture of actual fur. Yeah, jus' take your time & be patient.....I'm excited for you! hee heeee

It would be interesting to flock a half human/animal. Im not sure how the actaul flocking is done. I saw someone reborned a baby doll with a peach fuzz look. It was surprisingly real looking.
I want to experiment with real feathers for wings. Ive made wings of petals ,but is not quite the right scale. I think I could use some softening contrast with my work more cloth, hair etc.
