Scuttle is something like a beetle with extra humanish hands. He's sculpted over a peice of wild wood that sugested his form.

now I wish I had kept the forsythia roots I helped dig up out of the back yard because they would have made amazing monsters. but they were huge like the size of a sleeping cat kind of huge.

This looks like one of those critters you can only see in your paraphiral vision and only while sleepy.
