I had so much fun with the wild hair. I wanted her like Marie Antonette. I think the wings go with her costume like she was at a party and not a real fairy.

I cut a groove into the doll where a seam needs to be. This way I had put the fabric in and make it look neat. Its less bulky than sewing would be too.
For her its only the skirt with a gathered lace bustle and the corset is sculpted over top.

really the corset is sculpted??gotta see it again :D dont have yet any thing that will be dressed :D i wanna make at least 3 mermaids..and 1 is a little scary mermaid..i hope i could make it look interesting to look at lol and as for a fairy..i have an idea w/c i haven't seen on others :D...thnx a lot for the infos!!it really helps me a lot :D

The clay is just as good at fabric, you can roll it out thin and add after the figure is fully cured that way you can mess around till its just like you want it. I especialy like the black clay because it looks like black leather!
Ive made a few mermaids ,but its been a long time. Its diffifult to pose them in a nice original way. Thats great you ahve soemthign fresh for a fairy:)
