Wasnt gonna share just yet cause it takes the surpise of the final peice away but, hell , I got all stoked about how pretty her color turned out.

the feathers in the background are for her headress color scheme. Ill probably use some of them.

here 's a pretty decent tutorial for making eyes for sculpts.

Love the sculpt and the colors you used :)
The 'scarring' on the cheeks looks surreal.

Thanks for the links to the tutorial, I might give it a try some day.

This piece is so gorgeous and inspiring, and I really appreciate your willingness to answer technique questions! I can't tell you how much I'm learning just by reading your comments.

I use layers of gloss to build up a dimensional lens in my eyes instead of gel, but once I insert them and start sculpting the eyelids, it never fails that clay sticks to the iris and clouds them up. T_T I try dissolving it with rubbing alcohol, but that tends to dissolve the gloss as well. How do you avoid the whole eye smudging problem?

Also, what do you use for those gorgeous eyelashes?

You mean the eyes tutortial? That isnt my tutorial, but that is how I used to make them. You can just print on glossy photo paper or transparency film depends on the look you want and just any kind of standard computer printer.

One day I've GOT to have one of your pieces -these are just amazing!!

This lovely lady is gorgeous and she's still missing part of her head -how many women can claim that?!*chuckles*

I LOVE the green paint job you've done on her face the eyes are so startling. I really like the hint of the green feathered head-dress and those eyelashes are fantastic!!

I hope you don't mind if I take inspiration from this piece next time I dress up as an Elf for Faire.:D

Wel if your fast you can get one on etsy. Ill probably be making more lady and child busts.

I kinda like her without the top of her head but she has hair now.. it doent show in the photos but the green is actualy pearlized so, it has some shimmer to it. It turned out really pretty for a person with tore open cheeks huh?

No problem:) her makeup should be easy to do,but she is wearing antlers now that would be harder to pull off!
