Wasnt gonna share just yet cause it takes the surpise of the final peice away but, hell , I got all stoked about how pretty her color turned out.

the feathers in the background are for her headress color scheme. Ill probably use some of them.

here 's a pretty decent tutorial for making eyes for sculpts.

Love the sculpt and the colors you used :)
The 'scarring' on the cheeks looks surreal.

Thanks for the links to the tutorial, I might give it a try some day.

This piece is so gorgeous and inspiring, and I really appreciate your willingness to answer technique questions! I can't tell you how much I'm learning just by reading your comments.

I use layers of gloss to build up a dimensional lens in my eyes instead of gel, but once I insert them and start sculpting the eyelids, it never fails that clay sticks to the iris and clouds them up. T_T I try dissolving it with rubbing alcohol, but that tends to dissolve the gloss as well. How do you avoid the whole eye smudging problem?

Also, what do you use for those gorgeous eyelashes?
