yes:)well I call all insects fairy.. though Im a believer that true fairies had no wings and were the size of human. what are now called fairy's are sprites with glamours cast about them.but the name fairy is interchangeable now that the large fae beings are untraceable.

That was a playful statement. What normal people see as insects I see as fairies.spiders etc I call them fairies.
In silent hill 3 Heather said she was fighting monsters and Vincent said to her they look like monster to you? he saw only people!

That is how I became inspired to make the fairy wings that I create now, I found just the tiny wings (fly wings I think?) stuck to a dog's fur and thought they looked like they must have belonged to a fairy :D
