havent read that book. yes Im shaving each morning then Ill let em grow back. thats one reason why I want to shave my head too. just think it would be very refreshing not to have a ton of hair. my hair is down to my waist so its a lot of poundage and in the summer a bummer.
Maybe start with just the sides. I also always kinda of hid behind my hair. I dont consider myself beautiful or feminine and so long hair makes up for it. Calmness that is in short supply maybe worth the extra cost!
Yes it is very worth the extra cost. and I like to think I look handsome with no hair so it is a win win.
I would try the sides or perhaps just a trim. unless you really want to shock yourself into a change. one of my mentors in massage school suggested shaving your head as a way to drive home a change you want to make.
And is it weird that I really try to look up peoples nostrils on photos that have this angle?
it reminds me also of this character from the Clive Barker book Weaveworld. The Immaculata
i am on my ninth month of shaving my head daily and other than spending a small fortune on razors. I feel so much calmer without hair.
