Yup me too. This is just too status quo. I have to do something out of the norm. Now I am even considering a humming bird head for her since well I started thinking of Okeefe flower paintings as I was sculpting.

This piece was meant to be practice, but now its fun to think of how weird I can make it. It may end up being a really good thing.

Yeah she looks "nice" this way but on the head is just a touch more off the beaten path.

Hey medical can still educate you about anatomy and its a sure bet job that can fund what you love to do. Working in hollywood could really suck even if your lucky enough to get in.

I started watching Wayne Dane Hanson videos. They are pretty good for anatomy study.
Ive gotten alot of anatomy books but some how they dont help me. It helps me to watch it happening.
Im really interested in a sort of Phil Hale lean cut muscle style even on children. But you really gotta understand what your doing for it.

your totally right, medical does educate on anatomy and its boring, but
just I need to get more serious and much like you. I heard
horror stories about hollywood, but I want to elevate my self
some how, maybe games.

Phil hales work is very dynamic, so understanding how muscles
work in motion is key. I really want to get good at the sort
of thing too. Dynamic!!! yea!

You can do it, your already doing it. ^^

You can do both and take workshops you pick to get your skills way up. There are so many classes Id love to take ,but I just cant afford them.
Games would be great. I know WETA ,prop building and special effects is really alluring too. Id love to be on that level someday, but not sure Id want to work for someone else.

yeah Phil Hales got furious leaping figures, exploding with energy! Mine are very different. Still, vulnerable, introverted. it would be a new feeling to do action poses. Your so right about studying motion to get it right!

I have done the cut body a little, Flames chest is very lean,Artemisia Absinthium, merman, also I have a little faun character that I kept and havent posted.

I know what workshops feel like but its most cost
efficient to watch video tutorials instead.

Weta is an awesome production company, but seeing
that your an elite fine artist, I believe you should
listen to your heart an creature the world as you see
fit.

You have a lot of potential energy, trying different
dynamics will help ascend you. But go at your own pace,
I can see the emotion in your work, their is most
definitely some spiritual significance to the direction
you subscribe too.

If you have a very personal piece that you wont show the
public, I can respect that. Although my curiousity just
spiked. ^^

Hay, when you wake up in the morning, remember that your
badass!!

I have deep emotional feeling I want to project as some
fine art pieces, hope one of these days I can focus and
execute.

here is a cool old site you might dig: [link]

Well I like videos I can watch over, but most dont advance into the trickier stuff. I sure would love to have a teacher to wack my knuckles when I go to a bad habit or to guide me where Im weakest.

yeah I dont think Id want to bend my vision to somebody else's thing. Though WETA would be an accomplishment to brag about ,it would be great to be on a creative team and of course the paycheck would be nice.
I agree. I get so frustrated I want it faster. Ah I forgot that! Im badass!
Its not a private piece though. I have alot I haven't posted here. This piece I have pinned to my inspiration board. Id like to make others with the look.

Id love to see it of course!
Thanks for the link Ill explore it!

cool. now what way is the figure actually positioned? do you keep in mind the weight of the figure and how the knees (or back) is resting on the ground?

At this point I havent decided. Either on her head or this way. I dont think Ill have her laying on her back. The knees on the ground I can make minor changes to make it set right.
